i. What elements are necessary to establish a consistently collaborative working relationship with Technology and Curriculum?

ii. How do Tech Services and Curriculum leadership work and plan collaboratively to insure that the instructional goals of your school system are realized and measured? Please identify and share one area of strength and one area of weakness.

iii. Describe an innovative practice implemented in your district that required a strategic partnership between tech and curriculum to make it a success
iv. In terms of the future of education, is a partnership between Tech and Curriculum mission critical? If yes, why do you think so and what have you done to foster that type of partnership?

v. Does your Tech and Curriculum leadership collaboratively plan your budget for learning resources? If yes, what shifts have you witnessed in the marketplace and describe your vision for digital content?

vi. In tight economic times many districts are unable to purchase the latest greatest hardware. What strategies have you deployed, such as BYOT, to ensure students have the learning tools necessary for rich, engaging learning experiences.

vii. Do your schools recognize the partnership that you have built? What benefits have been realized now that the schools you serve know you have a consistent vision and mission?

viii. From the technology services viewpoint, is there an awareness of the process for the acquisition of hardware and software, planning and scheduling time required for new roll-outs, initiatives, and compatibility testing?

ix. For "new" initiatives that involve technology, is there an understanding of the total cost of ownership (TCO) after the installation and set up? Is there an understanding for not only the immediate technical specifications and requirements to support the new equipment or run the newsoftware but also an understanding of the long term TCO? Do you collaboratively consider ongoing costs in the form of support personnel, maintenance as the systems begin to age and annual contract obligations or are projects simply a "handsoff" to be handled by the techies going forward?
